This private tour of Ancient and Rome and Vatican City is one of the most comprehensive tours of Rome we offer.  It departs from the Port in Civitavecchia. 
 
During the day we visit many of the Eternal City's highlights including the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Colonna Square, Venezia Square, Arch of Constantine, Roman theaters, Castel St. Angelo, Navona Square, Pantheon and much more. 
 
In the morning we head straight to the Vatican where you will meet your licensed Vatican Tour guide.  The VIP TIckets allow you to skip the generaly enormous line ups outside of the Vatican.  With your guide you will visit the visit Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, the Map Galleries, St. Peter's Basilica and enjoy access to the Vatican Gardens.  
 
Following the Vatican, we head to the Roman Forum and the Colosseum area, where you will be able to take pictures and enjoy a look inside the Colosseum.  Following the Collosseum, you will be hungry and we will have time to stop for lunch.  Our driver/guide always suggest the best restaurants for the best value in Rome.
 
After lunch, we continue on our tour of Historic Rome and visit the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Colonna Square, Venezia Square , Colosseum, Arch of Constantine , Roman theaters , Castel St. Angelo, Navona Square , Pantheon ... ecc ...The Trevi Fountain 26 meters high and 20 meters wide, is one of the most famous fountains in the world, and the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. The Spanish Steps built in the early 1700, are the monumental stairways of 138 steps. The Pantheon Forum, one of the very well-preserved ancient Roman building is located at the Northwest of Rome. This building was built to serve the purpose of a temple for all the gods of the Roman ancient age. Piazza Navona is a city square,  built in the 1st century AD and is located on the site of the Stadium of Domitian. It follows the form of an open space of the stadium. A traditional legend about the Trevi Fountain holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome.
